I need to learn everything you know. I've had horrific gut issues since my divorce. I've started to feel like there's no way to feel normal again. But maybe there is ... ?

Yes!!! My divorce is what set my body off in crazy chaos…that and maybe turning 40 at the same time 🥴 There totally is a way, but most likely starting with dismantling everything you thought you knew about yourself and your body 💕💪 we can do hard things!!

What's your step one in the dismantling process?

Honestly…I shut off the noise…however you can, I started climbing and it was super scary but also very rewarding…I literally couldn’t think about anything else bc I was so afraid of falling, I was hyper-focused AND got a totally new understanding of my body…just how strong and capable I was and it was. That and I did a complete elimination diet and started adding things back in one-by-one so that I could actually feel my body digest….even some surprises…like yes, chickpeas are healthy and good for you but my body goes into full revolt when I have them in large amounts…like hummus? Forget about it 😹🤦‍♀️

I wish I had had this kind of wisdom YEARS ago when I went through my divorce!! I love my kimchi, sauerkraut, and sourdough! 😋

It’s such a strange and lonely time for sure, even the ones that are “in” your life and supporting you don’t know all the chaos going on inside that we don’t even understand enough ourselves to be able to say it out loud, you know?

One hundred percent! I know I (personally) internalize so much and suffer quietly which I know isn’t good. I have to work at opening up.
