Hosting and cooking for others has always been a growth edge for the perfectionist part of me, but your words are such a good reminder that it’s the feeling, the intention, and the act of gathering that matter most.

Thank you! I feel this — being a type-A Virgo/ with strong eldest daughter energy, I fight those perfectionist demons on the regular…but I really think disconnecting from anything outside of my parents home (via my phone) really pushed me and honestly let me rest easy and just play, feed my people & truly relax…I literally took zero photos of any of the food I made, so that alone showed me how to really unplug…and mean it 💕
