I spent 8 years in NYC and only got parts of two summers away for work and family visits. Other than that it was me and the empty, hot as hell, sweaty city. Or serving Sunday brunches to rich people on their way to sit by the water somewhere. Loved the post!

Yes!! I don’t know that I’ll ever be in that other category of folks, but for now, it’s just me…the subway sauna and my empty seats at the bar <3
